first camping trip of the season....

First weekend of May and we were out camping! The boys wanted to fish the Thompson River and decided to invite their families along. We stayed at the Steelhead campsite, at the end of Kamloops Lake. It is a really nice site and we only had a couple little rain storms. It can be loud with the trains going by....and a chorus of our kiddies saying "choo choo choo choo."
We left Friday morning and drove down with the Smith's.

Watching their daddies set up camp....

Meg and I went into Kamloops for a few hours so the Daddy's were in charge of dinner. It was a nice break for us - always nice to have a meal without kiddies!

Saturday morning Erin, Darren and Ben came out for a visit before the guys took off to do some fishing. We had a nice visit and Ben had lots of fun with the other kids.

Ben getting buried in the sand - he thought that this was hilarious!

Collecting rocks to put in Blake's pockets

More snacking. These two were so cute together this weekend - little buddies.

Blake just sitting eating a cookie - his new favorite thing!

He is such a hoarder of cars and trucks! He has ALL of them and freaks if anyone else wants to play with one.....we're going to have to figure out how to stop this!

Tristan, Blake and Trace ready to go for a boat ride with their daddies.

The boys out in the boat.

We had a great camping weekend - the first of many this season! I don't have pictures of us adults - but we had fun too!
