Bella Coola

We didn't have our usual week long time in Bella Coola. With selling the trailer, having a baby and lots to do around the house, we decided not to do it this year. Me and the kids hopped in with Wade on his work trip a couple weeks ago.

The kids were awesome for the drive - both were quiet and slept a lot!

We stopped at Fisheries as soon as we got there so Wade could do some fishing. He had one on almost right away - but it got off.

We stayed at a really nice Bed & Breakfast. And we got to know that room well because it started to rain that evening and didn't stop the whole time we were there! When it stopped we would run outside to go for a walk.... and then it would start to pour!

The one day while Wade was at work, me and the kids went to a friends house for a few hour visit. She has an 8 month old boy. We had a great visit and it was so nice to see them.

The morning we were suppose to leave, we were told that there had been a slide on the hill and the road was closed! Let me tell you - 3 year old stuck in a room for 3 days - AWESOME. We had one stir crazy little boy that drove his parents nuts! I have never been down there when it rained the WHOLE TIME - it is a totally different experience.

We were able to get out on the Thursday. There were two more slides after we left and the hill was closed for days. It is now open on and off to let people thru. Glad we got out when we did!
