Halloween Fun!

Blake LOVES the Shark in the movie Finding Nemo. He was so excited to dress up for a shark for Halloween - especially knowing that he could be "scary!"

The Strong Start Program put on a Halloween Party in the park on Friday afternoon. The kids got to make goodie bags, decorate mini pumpkins, play games, touch "witch eye balls" etc, and much more. It was a little chilly, but the kids had tons of fun!

We carved our pumpkin Sunday afternoon. Blake had been asking over and over "Open my pumpkin?"

He wasn't so keen on using his hands to scoop out the seeds. He thought it felt yucky and "I need to wash my hands."

We did all the stops at Grama & Grampa's, Grama and Papa's and Granddad's houses. Blakey scared them all! Then we headed up to the Kerley's house for a pizza party and then headed out trick or treating!

It was a lot nicer out this year - not quite as cold as last. We spent a couple hours out on the streets, meeting up with friends along the way. All the kids had tons of fun! We also got to watch the fireworks from the Kerley's deck. Blakey wasn't so keen on the fireworks - too loud he kept saying! By this time our little Shark was ready to go home....he didn't even make it to the end of the road and he was out!
